My name is Denis. My surname is Ivanov. I live in Russia, in Astrakhan. Astrakhan is very old, but it`s a beautiful city. There is the Kremlin in our town. In the Kremlin there are seven towers, it has the pentagon form. In the old times all city was in the territory of the Kremlin, and around the river Volga. The river Volga is very beautiful, a lot of fish in it. I like to fish. Sometimes my family and I go fishing.

My family is my mum, my father and my brother. My brother is 4 years. His name is Dima. He is very cheerful and noisy. I have a grandmother, a grandfather and a great-grandmother. I like to visit them. My great-grandmother was at the Second World War. She hasa lot of medals. She is very kind and fair. She bakes tasty pies. I have got a cat. It`s name is Gerda. Gerda likes to sleep. She is fluffy and can purring.

My birthday is on October, 31st. I am 10 years. This year I had a birthday party at the caf?. There we ate pizza, and the n played. We had a beautiful birthday cake. Ten candles burned on the cake. My friends presented me many gifts: books, games. My birthday party was cheerful and funny.

I study in Lyceum number two. I like to study there very much. In our Lyceum teachers are kind and good, and in my class I have many friends.

I like to read books. My favorite books are: "Harry Potter`s" and "Stalker". I like to play the computer. On Saturdays and Sundays my family and I go to the cinema or walk, and in summer in parks and on beaches. We spend weekends well.

In summer I usually visit many interesting places. This summer I was in the city of Pyatigorsk. We went on excursions, were in the Museum of Butterflies and drank mineral water. We went on excursion to Kabardino-Balkaria by the bus. I visited Elbrus, the highest mountain. It was fine, but cold. It`s very interesting to see snow in summer. We were on Blue Lake. Water was blue and pure there. Then we visited a Thermal Lake. Th e lake had warm water. It` s medical.

Even this summer I went to the sanatorium in the city of Gelendzhik. It`s near the Black sea. I had a rest and was treated. We went to swim in the sea every day. It`s very beautiful there - the warm sea and the bright sun.

How close are you as a family?
We usually see each other at least once a month, maybe more often. We have lunch together on Sunday if we haven"t got anything special to do. We live in Tula, which is about an hour and a half away, but we always come to Moscow where my mother and father live. It"s not so far.
Usually my grandmother and my uncle and aunt are there too - we"re quite a large family! Sometimes my brother and his girlfriend come over - they live nearby. The meal takes about four hours, we spend a lot of time chatting.
There"s no one we call the head of the family, although my father"s advice and opinion are very important in all decisions we take. My uncle Vova in fact older than my father is, so I suppose he"s the real head of the family.
When my grandfather was alive, he liked to think that the whole family organized itself around him, but these days it"s different. But we all try to discuss things together when we meet.
In most families, it"s a small family group who live in the same house, mother, father and the children before they get married. But if one of the grandparents dies, the other usually sells their home and goes to live with their children. So it"s quite common to have one grandparent living with you.
Most children leave home when they get married. But there are some people who want to lead independent lives and they find a flat as soon as they start their first job, even before they get married. Of course, the main problem is that flats are so expensive to rent here, and we simply have to live with our parents.

Ist das Leben der Jugendlichen in Deutschland der unseren ähnlich oder unterschiedlich? Wie existieren sie, wie werden sie erzeugt? Worüber träumen sie und auf welche Weise verbringen sie ihre Lebenszeit?

Laut der Statistik ist jeder fünfte Bewohner Deutschlands junger als 18. Die meisten deutsche Schüler und Studenten leben wohl uns sind mit alles Nötiges versorgen.

Doch nicht materielle Werte stehen für den größten Teil von ihnen oben, sondern Familien- und Freundschaftswerte. Deutsche Schüler wohnen nicht mehr Taschengeld, sondern mehr Zeit mit ihren Eltern im Familienzirkel und mit Freunden verbringen. Jeder zweite ist auch ein Naturfreund und bereit eine Hälfte seines Taschengelds für Naturschutz auszugeben.

Es ist wichtig die besondere Aufmerksamkeit der Lebensweise von deutschen Teenagern zu geben. Das ist eine abgesonderte, marginale Schicht der Gesellschaft. Sie benehmen sich wie verrückt, versammeln sich in lärmende Mannschaften, kommunizieren laut, schreien Lieder bis der tiefen Nacht, zeichnen Graffiti an den Wänden und sogar treiben Unfug. Das Motto von deutschen Teenagern konnte man in solcher Form ausdrücken: „Lebt bunt, laut und schrill solange ihr jung seid.“

Sie zersplittern sich in verschiedene Subkulturen, Cliquen und Bewegungen. Man kann auf die Straßen bunt und nicht formal aussehende Jugendliche beobachten: Hippies mit langen Haaren und Bärten, Punks mit Irokesen, Rocker in Lederjacken, auch vielfältige Skateboarders, Streetbrakers, Bikers und viele andere.

Während der lehre an der Universität arbeiten und wandern die meisten Jungen und Mädchen. Die Besonderheiten des deutschen Studiums ermöglichen das machen. Das Studium in Deutschland gilt als öffentliche Wohl uns auf dem meisten Territorium ist kostenfrei. Nur in Bayern und Niedersachsen müssen Studenten bis 500 Euro per Semester zahlen. In anderen Bundesländern ist ein so genannter Studentenbeitrag obligatorisch. Er besteht aus 100 bis 300 Euro per Semester. Für den Beitrag bekommt man die allgemeine Fahrkarte und das studentische soziale Paket, der verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung stellt. Zum Beispiel, ärztliche Betreuung, sportliche Abonnement u. s. w.

Der Stundenplan ist auch sehr günstig. Die Jugend stellt ihn selbstständig auf. Studenten können auch die Zeit des Studiums verlängern und eine Pause machen, wenn es nötig ist. Die meisten benutzen diese Möglichkeit um Geld zu verdienen oder eine Reise zu unternehmen. Nicht umsonst gibt es in Deutschland zahlreiche Arbeitsangebote für studierende Leute. Deshalb reisen und arbeiten sie gleichzeitig. Und immer noch werden sie verrückt. Veranstalten lärmende Partys, schreien Lieder, verlieben sich, verreisen per Anhalter nach Süden, streiken, nehmen Teil in vielfältigen Jugendbewegungen.

Nur nach der Ehe werden sie ruhig und solide, verwandeln sich zu würdigen Familienväter und Mütter. Doch das erste Kind gebären sie am meistens im Alter neben 30, nicht früher.

Offenbare Vorteile Existierens in Deutschland ungeachtet, gibt es auch ernste Probleme unter Jugendlichen. Zum Beispiel, Arbeitslosigkeit von qualifizierten Fachleuten, feindselige Beziehung zu Ausländer. Ein wesentlicher Teil von jungen Menschen raucht täglich, hat Übergewicht, trinkt zu viel Alkohol oder sogar nimmt Droge ein. Regierungen von Bundesländern lassen das Problem nicht in freien Lauf. I am a student of 9th form in Stary Oskol, Russia. I spend most of my time at school. Sometime school is very boring but some subjects are useful and I learn lots of new things. I enjoy geography, PE and arts. I like communicating with people and have many friends at school and out of it. In my spare time I like watching TV, listening to music, stroke and play with my cat. I also like reading books and walking with my friends. Usually we go to the bowling club, golf club, to the skating rink. All my friends love parties. One of the things I love mostly is traveling. I have been to Turkey, Egypt, Australia, Czechoslovakia. I usually travel with my family and prefer flying by plane. I think it is comfortable and fast. While the flight I admire the sky, clouds and wonderful views through the window.

I collect photos and souvenirs from all the countries I have traveled.

Next summer I am going to Britain. I would like to improve my English, to attend English schools and go sightseeing. I am planning to visit Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower and ride London Eye. I hope I will enjoy my travel so I am trying hard to study English and to prepare for the City & Guilds exam in December 2009.

There are fiction and non-Fiction books. Fiction books are thought up by authors though they can be based on true events. Non-Fiction books contain real facts.

Fiction literature offers a great variety of genres to readers: romance, historical novels, science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, fables, fairy-tales, drama, poetry. Non-Fiction includes biographies and autobiographies, dictionaries, encyclopedias, almanacs. Every reader has his favourite genre corresponding to his taste and character.

Why Do People Read?

People read books because they are a valuable source of information and knowledge. Studying is one of the main reasons why people read books. It is impossible to imagine modern school without books.

The programme material is contained mostly in textbooks. Reading develops mind and thinking abilities. Books consider the eternal questions of life, so they help us in everyday situations and stimulate our self-perfection.

My Favourite Book

One of my favourite books is "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway. The fisherman Santiago is very devoted to the sea where he has been fishing since his early days. He has always been prepared for the battle with a big fish.

The battle is dangerous and hard but the old man morally wins the battle. His words "man can be destroyed but not defeated" are the main idea of Hemingway’s masterpiece. This book inspires me greatly especially at the most difficult moments of my life. Isn’t it the value of literature?

Программный материал содержится, в основном, в учебниках. Чтение развивает ум и интеллектуальные способности. Книги рассматривают вечные вопросы жизни, таким образом, они помогают нам в повседневных ситуациях и стимулируют наше самосовершенствование.

Моя любимая книга

Одна из моих любимых книг – "Старик и море" Эрнеста Хемингуэя. Рыбак Сантьяго очень предан морю, где он рыбачил с молодости. Он всегда готовился к бою с большой рыбой.

Битва опасна и трудна, но старик морально выигрывает её. Его слова "человек может быть разрушен, но не побежден" являются основной идеей шедевра Хемингуэя. Эта книга вдохновляет меня особенно в самые трудные моменты моей жизни. Разве не в этом ценность литературы?
